Turning Your Blogging Stress Into Success
You have a constant sense of dread, a heightened sense of tension, and you’re losing sleep at night. You’re stressed and you know exactly what’s causing it. The deadline for your next blog post is ominously looming over you.
The prospect of writing a blog post can be daunting. What should you write about? Is your writing good enough to capture and keep your readers’ attention? Will anyone care about your topic? Will you get any engagement or leads from it?
Don’t despair. If you approach blogging in a systematic way, you can eliminate the angst and increase your probability of blog-writing success. We have compiled a 6 part blog series to help you to do just that.
A blog is a short article, approximately 400 – 600 words or 1 letter-sized page in length. As short as this sounds, you must be deliberate in how you blog in order to maximise the return on your efforts.

- To connect with its community by putting a more human face to the brand.

For a specific blog post, as with the overall blog, you should be clear on what you’re trying to accomplish. For example, do you want your reader to learn something? What do you want them to do with the information you’re imparting? Knowing this ahead of time helps to guide the direction of your thoughts.

Even if you’re the undisputed expert on your topic, do some research before you start writing. This may include interviewing other experts on the topic, reading research papers or other blogs, or conducting your own survey or poll.
Your research serves the purpose of ensuring that you are up-to-date on what you’re writing about. It also gives you the chance to include data and facts from other reputable sources. This lends further credibility to your post and to your brand.
